A New Path

We've been in the family entertainment industry long enough to know that most start-ups fail miserably. Typically these establishments require an extraordinary amount of initial capital, high rents, full-time staffing, and reliance on walk-in traffic as well as specialized training to operate and manage multiple-profit centers. Trying to keep too many balls in the air is a recipe for disaster. We've been down that path ourselves. We knew there had to be a better way.

Through research, insight as well as trial and error, we explored different business models. What if instead of running a family entertainment center as a restaurant, open long hours with unpredictable sales days due to the time of year and weather, we ran it like a catering company, open for business only when there was business? What if we focused on providing "best in the world" birthday parties?
